I just got back to reloading after a long hiatus. Even though I still have a large supply of everything (except boolits), was dreading having to buy powder. I browsed in an LGS last year and saw prices about $30 per lb. I avoided looking again cuz I knew it would depress me.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I just started looking online. Prices appear to be little more than what I paid in the mid-90s at LGSs. I pulled out an almost full lb of Hercules Green Dot that still wore a $14.95 price tag (+ tax). It's less than that at Graf's, of course, they don't have any"-)

I was in the same boat a year and a half ago. Price shock from the mid 90s when I shot a good bit. Primers and boolits are double the price that I was used to paying. Powder was almost double. Now with the "knee jerk" buying spree prices are going up again, that is if you can find what you want. If the store did not jack the price too high I will buy some, I am hopefull the shelves will fill in due time, this is not the first primer shortage I have loaded through.

The problem lately is just trying to find any reloading components. I've found that Midway USA seems to be the quickest to restock, but people are watching almost on a daily basis so you need to buy quick. I just bought 4lbs of Power Pistol.

I have even found powders ON SALE here in Canada ! 2400 $110.00 for 8lb jugs unique #122.00 8Lb, blue dot $65.00 for 5 lb ,and the best savings so far RX-7 $16.00 lb ( last I bought was on the shelf for$36.99 plus 10% tax on top of that . May not sound too fantastic but for Canada it's pretty good / great! Ps still lots of primers and as far as I have seen no inflated prices ( Yet ).

Good for Canada maybe they won't gouge like everybody here. I was asked $35.00 a pound for powder and $45.00 for primers lately.

Wow, is that U.S. or Canadian dollars? Do they ship to the U.S.?
It's probably better if they don't. If too many of us Yanks got wind of those prices, we'd likely ruin things for you:-)
