Does anyone sandblast, or bead last before dura-coating. The rifle I'm working on was stored for a while and drew some moisture. It has some slight pitting, and the blueing is shot.

Bead or sandblast is recommended. I experimented with not abrading the surface and the dang stuff is peeling off. GW
