need a good mold/boolit for 50 Alaskan

HI guys,
I just picked up a 50 AK and need a good mold/boolit. I will be shooting it out of a handi rifle. Anyone casting for this one?

We have several designs for the 50 AK in both plain base and gas check.

My favorite is a 580gr LFN that Veral made for me, it is pushed along by 55gr 4198 and gets 1800 out of my 16" encore barrel. Another boolit that gives me great accuracy is a 390gr "pointy" or "Arcane" boolit. I did not care too much for the old 515142 PB design. Dan at Bullshop can fix you up with some boolits and then you can choose which ones you like the best.

ive got a noe 4 cav 500 grain lfn that works great in mine. It has one cavity hollow pointed with a pin like a lyman hp mold. this bullet was designed with a shorter nose to run in lever guns. Might be worth checking with him.

Thanks guys. Dan I will send you an email. Glad to hear you are doing bullets and I hope lube. Stub that sounds like a beast of a load. Just what I am after. Lloyd I looked at that mold and have 2 others now I want. After I try some from Dan I'll find a mold.
