That size O-ring is a #54, STK NO 35768B at my local ACE hardware. I've replaced a couple with the Ace o-ring (made in Taiwan, of course) and they seem to be a good fit. There seems to be at least two numbers in circulation for the same size o-ring.

The #35 was from Home Depot. Interesting to know that there are more than one "size" designation for the same dimensions. Appreciate your post!

I have a pile of them if you can't find some locally. I bought a bag of 100 from McMaster Carr, just to be done with it!!! Dash no. 015

Or 2mm x 18mm will work also.

I bought some o-rings from Ace and they broke down from exposure to the lube. I broke down and ordered some from Lyman along with spare retaining nuts that hold the dies in the die body. 3 o-rings are 1 buck, retaining nuts are 4 bucks. They sent them through the mail and didn't charge through the nose for shipping. Website below for replacement parts

The ones from Home Depot are every bit as good as the factory rings. I've had several in place for years.

As long as they are the standard buna-o-ring ( not many aren't) they will be the same material as what Lyman's. We use them for all sorts of chemical apps' at work , it's what they're made for. Lube is not in the least a chemical. The other types are even more resistant.

I'm making up some blank dies and just bought 2 packs of 100 each from Graingers. Total was a little over $12. Item # 1BUP1
