Primer for IMR 7828

Short of it is I ordered some IMR 7828 and some magnum primers.
Primers were placed on back order with no delivery in sight.

Am thinking this slow stick powder will still work with standard CCI-200 primers in 30-06 with 200 grain boolits and 270 win with 150gr Boolits.
I may use some in my 243 AI’s but am sure a standard LR primer ( Rem or CCI) will work in the short cases.

Wondering if anyone has had any issue with lighting off IMR 7828 with standard primers in any long action case.

Will be watching the posts, as I have always used the CCI 250s for my 300win mag 7828 loads.

I'd guess your correct on the smaller cases.

In my Speer #12 book however, it does recommend the use of the mag primer with the 130 & 150gr bullets. Also recommended in the standard .243 loads.
