2% Tin—6% Antimony—92% Lead


What is this sruff close to? I think it would be harder than WW.

What do you all think.

I have seen that exact alloy listed as Hard Ball alloy on http://www.lasc.us/CastBulletNotes.htm

Also It is about Lyman #2

half as hard, half as tough as Linotype equals:
twice as hard, twice as tough as WW. ... felix

That alloy is sold as hardball and Taracorp Magnum

Lyman #2 is close at 90/5/5

Thanks all was thinking it would be good for my rifles ie. 445SM, 7.62X54R, .308 and 460WBY. With it being close to Lyman #2 it should work out fine, just need to get the right price on it.

when I was casting to make money it was the alloy I used...and I still have 1500 lbs laying around...it will do...I still use 20-1 for hunting loads
