If i had a boolit that dropped at exact .452 dia, with coww,,,what would be the diameter of the boolit with 50% coww,and 50% pure lead? How much difference between the 2? thanks

it will be heavier and smaller in diameter and softer. More lead content=heavier and smaller and softer.

you could add about 2% tin to the ww's before cutting it with the soft, this might get you back to closenuff.

what i was wondering was, if i had a custom mold cut to mike .452 with straight coww,s,,, what would they drop if i used 50% ww-50% pure. Im wondering if i should spec the mold out .453-.454,just to be safe.........

there are tolerances to mold cutting anyway.
i'd ask for 452 with a plus tolerance.
the plus is usually +1.5 thousandths.
this gives you a little wiggleroom with the diameter and alloy.
and they won't be too huge to size easily.
