Found some small pistol Tula primers today. Wondering if they are good stuff.

Yes, I bought 1000 which was as many as the shop would let me have. This is a LGS that I always thought went for the highest dollar and was surprised they were selling them at the old prices.

I've used almost 10K Tula SR in 223 and 40S&W with no issues. They all go bang.

The only ones I hear that are bad are the SR Mag in 223. Certain ball powders do not ignite. They have about 4 different versions of the SR primer. I just stay away from them.

Now the LP primers, I went through 15K of them last year and I had 1 dud. I lost it at the range so I was not able to pull it to find out what it was.

I have run about 5K each Tula SP and LP in last year or so. No problems, no misfires. Wish I could get my hands on 10K or so for a reserve. I have some CCI large rifle that are 20+ years old and they function like new.

I've used thousands of tula primers and have been well satisfied.

I've used the following Tula/Wolf primers:

LP
LR
SR
SP

All were excellent, with the small rifle being especially good.
