Got one coming. Any ideas what BHN to use for 7.62, 1-12 twist, at 1200-1500 FPS? Proper sizing for whatever the stock barrel size is?
I'll slug mine when it get here..
TIA

Try Linotype. The 7.62 x 25 Tokerov round is notorious for needing a HARD cast boolit to function properly. Having a gas check is also a good idea.

How hard? I have some stuff I cast from radiation shielding blocks, for my SKS, that come in at BHN 14.5, near as I can make out. From the mold into a bucket of water..
Who has the best mold for this caliber?
I'm a bit surprised to see that RCBS dies are $145, and out of stock...

The 7.62 X 25 Tokarev (in the CZ-52) has a bore size of .308". The CZ is quite strong, but you must remember that the pistol was designed to shoot jacketed bullets. I ought to know, I have a Yugo 57 chambered for the 7.62 X 25 Tokarev cartridge.
