After looking at my Redding powder dumper, I am wondering if anyone has or does a modification to RCBS drums to incorporate a set-screw so the metering micro dial doesn't wander. I have been putting a piece of tape on it to keep it from moving. I haven't looked it over really good, maybe not possible or do they have a way to tighten them down already?

remy,

I have RCBSs micrometer adjusting heads on all three of my Uniflows. None have ever wandered as they have an O ring that prevents it. I love 'em.

One of mine is really loose, seems to be no pressure on it and it will wander if I don't put a piece of tape on it.. I will play with it and see if the o-ring is serviceable.

pulled the o-ring out and will get a new one, the switch should be the fix, my other 2 are tighter. Thanks Cat

Got an O-ring at a local farm supply store for 30 cents 1/2"ID & 5/8" OD....perfect! The old one just got a little hard and flat to where there was very little pressure.
