For you fellas that have been fooling with the 1903 a lot longer than me . About what velocity with a hundred seventy grain lead bullet will the 1903 battlesight regulate at about a hundred yards .
I've got it working with a pretty light load and shooting right to the sight at thirty to fifty yards . Now the trick is build a load heavier and faster to make the impact come up higher .
In finding the light loads I noticed my shots started out hitting high , as the charge was increased the impact came down to where the sights were looking . I'm thinking there has to be a point where it starts going back up . After all the battlesight is meant for over five hundred yards so finding a load to work at a hundred should be easy right ??
