Backorder Blues

I have three pistols that have been on backorder since 29 June, 2011. I had to pay the money up front to order them. They are a 9mm S&W Shield, a 9mm CZ 75B in Nickel, and a plain jane 9mm CZ75B. I know these have been kinda hard to get, but this delay seems kinda ridiculus. Anyone else going through a similar situation?

I'm waiting on a S&W 442 Airweight that takes the full moon clips. Was looking for a Shield but got tired of waiting. Picked up a Beretta Nano, just before the Newton thing. Very happy with it. DAO, ambidextrous (southpaw) and no levers, what-so-ever.

You are more patient than me. I was having a hard time just waiting 8 days for my "instant" background check for my Ruger Blackhawk.

18 mos back order? I can buy it on the Shield, yet to see any of them hit town, but on the CZ's? I'm amazed. I'd be looking for a return on my deposit. That just doesn't pass the smell test. By now, the MSRP has to have gone up, even before the latest buying frenzy.
A quick look on line found several 75b s listed NIB on gunsamerica.

Sorry guys, I don't think my coffee had kicked in yet cause I typed the wrong year:coffeecom I purchased these pistols last year, not in 2011. Still seems like too long to wait. I also heard the CZ in nickel finish has been discontinued so I may never get it :(
