The Lead Gods smiled upon me today, I had cleaned, lubed and prepped my new RCBS 32-098-SWC mold, and cleaned my new Lyman .314 sizer die and top punch last night and today I fired up the pot and started casting.

Here are the results, with wheel weight lead with a bit of #2 mixed in, they dropped at a hefty 101.5 grain average and at .314-.316 which is great. After sizing I ran a quick bunch through the new sizer die to see what I had and lucky me everything was in order. They lubed nicely and popped out of the sizer at .3145 inches :) which should do well in my circa 1920s .32 S&W long and gonna use the same bullet my old 32-20 revovler too.

So two thumbs to RCBS and Lyman they did not let me down.

I thought this would be a nice contrast...one of my Keith 250g .44 mag bullets next to their little brothers in .32 cal.

You will probably find that the 32's are very accurate in your revolver. They along with 38's were common in Bullseye matches before 45's were sufficiently accurate.

Old Caster,

Yea I'm hopeful they will shot good, one is a litte "I" frame 32 S&W Long nickeled, and one is the larger K frame MP in 32WCF(32-20) both only 3.5 barrels, no adjustable sights back then :(

I'd love to get a little .32 H&R Mag some day. Those bullets are cute.

I got that mold for Christmas. Haven't gotten shoot any of the pile of boolits I've made yet, but I hope it will shoot good in my S&W 1908 32-20 also. From what everyone says I'm expecting great things. I wish you much success.
