Lee 30-150-TL-PB targets from 7/20/07

Now that I've finally learned how to attach photos on this site, I'm going to add these. Both were shot @ 50yds. with 13.5 gr. B. Dot (in actuality closer to 13.3gr.), which -> 1,530fps. OAL was 3.15" (long enough to engrave the first two TL bands). One target (10 shots at each red dot) was fired with those CB's sized to .311" (LBT lube), the other with unsized CB's (Lee LA). None was segregated by cavity or weight. I later cast a new batch and did weigh & sort by cavity and discovered the mean wt. was ~140gr. and that cavities 1 & 2 dropped bullets that varied very little (~0.3gr.) in weight, as did cavities 3 -> 6.

Thanks! I think I need to tweak the load a bit though. I'll try 12,6gr. B. Dot next (that's what my Lyman 10L rotor drops), but I suspect 13gr. or 14gr. WC 820 will perform as well as B. Dot. It's interesting that the unsized (oversized base) CB's performed as well as they did.

..............Both those right hand targets are looking good, especially that fast. They REALLY look good dropping a flyer out of each. Counting holes, you had 3-4 slugs chase each other through the same hole :-)
