What size lead wire or core for 5/16 copper tubing jacket?

What size lead wire is used with the 5/16 copper tubing jackets for .308 bullets? Is anyone making a core mould to cast the cores?

I start off with 3/8 then draw twice where you would probably only draw once ... I am using .218

inside diameter of standard 5/16 tubbing is .250. Simply subtract from that amount how much you plan to reduce it then give yourself a little room.
