New favorite 32-20 load

Yesterday I was shooting some Lee 311-100-2R boolits, cast from ACWW and sized to .312, over 4.5gr. AA#2 in my Marlin 32-20 rifle and am very impressed with it. It would hold about 3 MOA at 200 yards using the factory barrel sights, shot fairly flat, was quieter than a 22LR (didn't ring my ears when shot without muffs) and the barrel stayed clean with no leading. About 1400 fps. It consumes very little powder and lead and is very effective. Great fun!

Nobade that sounds great. I bet that would be real close to one-hole at 50 yards. Been looking into AA#7 for the 32-20 but never considered AA#2. Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like a great load Nobade - should be great for small game. I am impressed with that 200 yard shooting, especially with iron sights!

.313 - .314 depending on which which direction you measure them.
