Saturday, a week ago, I passed my CWP test. The next day, I put $100 down on a Ruger P345 at Sportsman's Warehouse. Just got done doin' a 60 hr. week, so next weekend, I'm gonna bring that puppy home!
I haven't owned an automatic in years, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Well, congrats on both counts. I'm a little curious what sold you on the P345? I've considered it a few times, as well as a couple other autos. So far I'm still a revolver shooter. I carry an SP101, but I'm looking for an auto that might persuade me.

1- it's a Ruger.
2- lightweight polymer frame
3- stainless rail and slide
4- ambidextrous safety
5- double action
6- grip is trimmed down from P-90
7- 3 ounces lighter than P-90
8- 8 rd. magazine
9- lockable safety
10-fixed sights

All these features are what I was wanting in a .45 ACP.
