Check Brownells website. They list all the Marlin factory parts. Marlins haven't changed much in the last 50 years. Different stock fit in the tang area, different forend configs, and small external changes, but the basic action is pretty much the same. You'll likely find that a 1960's hammer strut and pin are the same as ones made today.

I just checked my Brownells catalog and the two parts your looking for are common to all 1895's and 336's regardless of caliber.

I just placed an order with Midway for some Marlin parts. They have quite a few on hand. Also you might also go to Numrich as they specialize in gun parts.

Having Marlinitis I can relate. I believe you will find the pin and strut to be the same Pre/Post 83. The hammer width was changed from .280" to .340" above screw pivot for crossbolt safety. Marlin P/N'S 320174 Strut / 420497- Pin. Pin goes in from RH side. Gtek
