First let me say that I have read the Glock owner's manual, especially the section that does NOT recommend lead boolits..they also do NOT recommend reloads so I'm going with the many shooters who carefully shoot lead (cast) boolits. A question to Glock 19 owners who shoot lead boolits: which mould/design would you suggest...125 gr or so, round nose or truncated cone? I'm asking before I order a 4 cavity 9mm mould. Casting your own boolits makes you immune from the current bullet shortages thanks

I use the Lee 356-102 1R, the 356-125 2R, the 356-120 TC, and the 358-105 SWC, all cast with range scrap and sized to .358 diameter. I generally run 5 grains of Unique for regular lead but have of late been running a little warmer loads with plain based gas checks I stamp from soda cans. The little 102 actually weighs closer to 105 as cast and 110 after the gas check is applied. Those were pretty zippy and lots of fun to shoot in my Glocks and my Taurus 709 Slim. I can't wait to try them in my Marlin Camp Carbine.

I use the RCBS 124CN and with ww alloy they weigh about 128 grains.I size them to .356 and shoot them in my Glock 17 and 26 using unique and red dot with great results.I do have to heat treat them, otherwise i get a bit of lead wash in barrel.Lyman #2 works great and so does lino but since i got plenty off ww i use it.Very good accuracy out of both Glocks and the mold worked great since day one.I also use those boolits in my Dan Wesson .357 with medium power loads with great results,as cast they are .3575 so i just lube in my .358 die and load.I think you would be very happy with that mold, full power and accuracy.Jim. Forgot to mention that is a truncated cone boolit and feeds 100%.

I use the Lee 356-125 2R aswell with 2:1 ww and pure lead. Have never had an issue. I size to .356 and use 50/50 beeswax/vaseline.

I have Lee six cavity 124 grain molds in both TC and RN. I like both and both are very happy out of Glock 17, 19 and 26. That's with the OEM barrels and the Lone Wolf versions.

Incidentally, both shoot very well in my wife's SR9 and SR9c also. However, the Lone Wolf G19 barrel likes .356" whereas .357" is better with the other barrels.

Lee 356-120 TC conventional lube has worked extremely well in a wide range of different
9mms for me. Do not have a Glock, but expect it would be the same.

This may be helpful.

Lead did not work out for me in the Glock22, leaded in less than 50 rounds. Got a storm lake barrel for $150 and it runs great for over 10k rounds. With the Glock21sf I have great results with lead. Once I took it out for a day and ran 650 rounds thru it till I got a FTF due to lube buildup. Two passes with a brush and the barrel was clean.
I best lead shooter is the glock 21sf, its even better on lead than my 686 and much eisier to clean.

I use the lee 358-125-rf. Great out of my glock 19. size to .357 or .358. As you have gathered cast and glocks, not an issue.

Never tried the 358-125 in 9mm but sounds good to me.
