I cast a couple dozen of each type, seems I have a weight problem8-) the mold was to throw a 440 gr solid and less with the hollow pt. Well I 45/45/10 lubed and Gator short rifle gas checked. The solids weighed 480.7 grains and the hollow points weighed in at 464.0 grains. This is with a straight WW melt. I weighed a few jacked bullets to confirm the scales accuracy and it was dead on. Anybody know why the stated weight is so much lower than the actual weight?
