Guys, I bought a Lyman die to seat bullets the other day. It will work but I really don't know what it is. Always the bargain hunter, it was VERY inexpensive. It's an older chromed die that says LYMAN 30 CAL MAG DA in the groove on the side of the die. It has a 467S punch in it. Does anyone know what the original intent for this die was? A sized .30-'06 neck won't fit into the neck area of the die but a .308 bullet will drop through the area above the neck that keeps the bullet straight. It's a close, proper fit for the bullet. I just wanted an inexpensive separate seating die for each different length bullet. Thanks!
