Accurizing a scale

I saw on the web somewhere there is a Gentlemen that will do this to a scale. Does anyone know who he is, contact information, cost and is the end product worth it? Can I do it myself?

I'd be amazed if this does anything except make your wallet lighter. If your mechanical scale is not broken it does not need fixing.

A Q tip and some rubbing alcohol on the agate bearing will probably do the trick.
If it balances out , it's not in need of much of anything.
I looked at the utube thingy for 58 sec..not sure the point to all that?
If you can't tell if the pointer is pointing at zero maybe a digital scale is
needed. (or in my case maybe stronger magnifiers:-?
