It was 73 degrees here yesterday and it only got up to 30 today. And it's supposed get colder. I cast outside so it's going to be a while longer before i restock my supply of .358's and .452's, but I've got a few cords of wood so I can sit by the fire and think casting.

Oh shucks, sorry about the J words showing up in the pic. However, it is true that under some circumstances I will shoot them.

I will now go spend half an hour in the corner for penance . . . :)

I see somebody got tired of stuff rolling off their bench onto the floor! I need to put a "dam" on some of my benches too.

How bored did you have to be to route out all those wooden boolit blocks?

They're not routed out Gear. They're just flat pieces of wood that I stack the boolits on.

And dang yes I got tired of stuff rolling off my bench! :) I'm really talented & highly skilled when it comes to dropping/bumping and just plain knocking stuff over. Master level. Them little dams really help a clutz like me out. So does the carpet on the floor.

I put quarter round molding around all four sides of ALL my benches.

I do have to cut out openings in the "fence" for mounting plates.

Very interesting Catshooter. Very interesting.

First there is a box of j words right there on your bench and then I Google your signature line (Cogito, ergo armatum sum) and come up with this. Very interesting indeed.

wiki.answers.com › … › Translations › Latin to English
It means "I think, therefore I am armed." Although it should be armatus sum or armata sum unless you are of the neuter gender.

I use old empty j-word boxes to store some boolits or molds in.

Gonna get below zero tonight Joe. Throw another blanket on the bed.

Not really sure how to put those two facts together Rick. Although since I had a vasectomy many years ago I guess I am neutraled! :)

Jailer, I love my piggyback. Right next to it is an Ammomaster that is it's big brother. I can load progressively 45-70s on it.

I have noticed that 9mms fit nicely into those Speer J word boxes. Don't know just how that terrible thing got in the photo, no I mean on the bench, no I mean in my shop! No idea officer. It's not mine and you can't prove it ya got no witnesses!

Cat, thanks, I plowed snow for 2 hours when I got home from work. Now I'm jealous. JW

We got hammered with snow today. Dunno what they claimed the total to be, but it looks like a solid 6" to me. I'll get plowed out it the morning. It'll be a workout for the little 2 cycle power shovel I got, but it'll "get 'er done!

Dog came in covered in snow a couple of times, looked like he was wearing a white sweater. That'll teach him to hurry up with the leg lifting!:([smilie=1:

We got about four inches. Didn't take very long for me to shovel. Then I went back to what is important in a retired man's life.

My four dogs are going in and out much faster than a few months ago too.

We were supposed to get hammered with that storm too, we only got an inch and a half of rain and no, the dog wouldn't even go out. She just sat there looking at me like it was my fault.

Holly COW!!! Now thats wayyy too much time on your hands if you can line them boolits up that neatly on wooden blocks!!
By the 5th row, mine would be looking like a snake on the board!!

Let alone...how'd you get them all stacked like that?? I would of knocked boolits off the bottom boards just trying to set one on top of the other.
I need to be retired so I can learn how to make them boolits look that purty on boards like that!!

We were hit with that storm here in N Alabama yesterday morning as well. When I woke up at 4:00AM it was 70° then after a day of Tornadoes & heavy rain it was sleeting & snowing at 8:00PM. Gotta love Alabama weather :)

Don't count on that. Since I've retired, the days just fly by and it seems as if I had more time when I was working.

Here in Chicagoland Tuesday we broke the record that stood since 1914 when we hit a high of 64 and tonight will see 0.

We have set another record for going the longest time WITHOUT receiving even 1" of snow.

Well it's -18 actual air temp with a -50 wind chill right now. Even pure lead would probably shatter on impact. But I leave for a week in CA tomorrow.

41magfan,

Did you think I was going to photograph my boolits all knocked over and scattered about? You just don't know how many times I had to re-stack the little ******** 'til they came out right. :)

There's 184 boolits on each board. Twenty three rows of eight each times six boards equals a happy boy!
