Has anybody used a Lee 50 cal REAL boolit in the 500sw

I started loading 500sw for a guy I work with last week, and was wondering if I could load a lee 250gr 50cal REAL boolits. I was thinking it might make a good lite plinker loaded slow. Any thoughts on the subject guys?

The Lee REAL is a tapered design, in my case of the 50 cal, it is .500 on the base, .517 on the front band. Not sure that would perform the best in a 500.

Yeah, i dont think it would be best either. But thought i might run it through a sizer and try my luck.

I shoot them in my encores. Work great. I lube with carnuba red. I shoot mine over trail boss and unique. You need to make sure that the top band is sized as they are VERY tapered as mentioned before.
