The Stock with final work completed. Checkering and polishing.
The barrel is made from Solid Drawn Steel tube.The furniture is made from Mild steel plate.The forend tip is Cow Horn.The Lock was Lock Plate,Cock, Frizzen.I made the Springs and internal parts.She ignites fast (made and fitted a Stainless Steel coned insert).

From scratch to finished product. Highly unlikely to see these days. I was pleased this day Sir. In being able to observe your thread. Your talents overwhelm many I'm sure. Showing us here such a nicely built smoothbore fouler. Is indeed appreciated, and a complement to your gunsmithing abilities.

OverMax,Thank you for those words,Flintlocks hold a fascination for me both historicaly and technicaly.The constant attention required to keep them shooting in their day needed a user to understand the firearm and its possible failings.
