Looking at getting a Redding 30BR powder measure. It is going to be used for calibers such as 22 Hornet, 223 Remington and such. Any pluses or minuses on this model? Am upgrading from an RCBS powder measure and hope this model might be more consistent.

My 30BR is definitely more reproducable than my Duo-measure. I do not have a "modern era" RCBS measure, just the duo-measure. Really long logs are still sheared in the 30BR but I doubt you are interested in those powders in your application.

this past weekend i picked up a harrell powder measure at a auction it is truly a work of art, they are really pricey 250.00 to 400.00 new the one i got was about 350.00 plus 50.00 for the stand i got mine in a box lot with a rc 2,3 wilson case trimmers with bases and stands and a sinclair concetricity gage i won't say what i payed but i was smiling all the way home. a guy needs to get a great deal once in a while
