does anyone have the Lee Hand Press that could take some measurements for me? Im doing a retro fit on an old press with a ram that accepts universal shell holders and need to know the diameter and rough length of the ram on the Lee. Im assuming that all their single stage presses have a ram cut from the same diameter cold rolled stock so anybody that could supply a diameter, please chime in.

Its an old Pacific that has a ram with the dedicated shell holder for the 06', 270, 280, etc.
I want to swap out the ram with one for universal shell holders. There are several that will work but none can be found to be cost effective. I need to be in it for less than $10 or its not worth it.

I was looking into the same idea. How did it work and did you have to do any modification or did it work out of the box?

Haven't done it yet. Those darn hand presses are bringing too much to invest in one. Im not in any hurry but it will work with some modification.
