Thanks for posting that link. Lol

I've already ordered a 80% 10-22 and have a deal working on a 1919 kit that is pristine, to go with my other 1919A4. Guess I need an A6 now.

Any idea what their turnaround time will be? I could really use a BCG. I have one on order supposedly, but it may not ship for another month.

TXslade, As you have noticed it is a gun builders site alot of neat 10/22 builds even out of sheet metal for the avengers.
2Wheel, I am not sure on the turnaround time, that is why he doesnt want to charge before hand but whenthey ship, Its a deal i cant resist, Unlike other companys that charge you for product they dont have on hand and dont know when it will arrive. In the meantime thier are some really cool builds on that site. Enjoy

Thanks for the link. I haven't been back since I had it out with a mod over having to post to stay a member over a year ago. I have learned quite a bit from that board from lurking, and even did my first 10/22 80% after spending time reading that board. Never had anything to contribute so I was fine just sitting back, reading, and learning.

what is a bcg?

Bolt Carrier Group. The reciprocating affair in the upper receiver of the AR series of rifles that ejects a fired case and chambers a new one.

Familiar with the carrier group, just never heard it abbreviated bcg. Good to know.

No sense in saying something outright when you can just as easily use an acronym to sound cool and confuse everyone! I'm equally guilty of it too!

Geez, wait until after everything calms down - then order one - if you have not gotten your PDW for SHTF by now your SOL.

I've got everything I need. I just want to build more, at a not so crazy price, lol..

BTW, that website that had the group buy is awsome. I just registered there and OMG my mind is blown by the amount of info there. I don't even feel like posting cause there's so much to learn. Kind of like when I first found these forums..

In part because POTUS won the election, I went out and bought the 10-22 I had been wanting for 35 yrs. I don't NEED it, it was a "get it while I still can" deal. I never considered an AR-15, but I am thinking hard about an 80% kit for the same reason. Maybe I'm nutz. My wife thinks I am, but that's not much different than normal.
