What is the consensus on mold handles...do you have a set for every mold or just a few sets to cover the number of molds that you'd use in a casting session?

a few sets to cover the number of molds that you'd use in a casting session?

I have at most a half a dozen handles I think.

i have a number of handles.
i need a few more sets. [one more set of rcbs and i could use some lee 6 cav handles]
there is no way i could get handles for all my molds at this point.
at 20 bucks a pair i'd need about 1000.00 worth to cover everything except my magma molds i'd need another 20 sumthin pairs for those.

I have 8 molds all with handles. I don't plan to collect that many more. Therefore, I plan to have handles for every mold. It's just easier.

I have an assortment of handles but with 40 plus molds I do not think I would want to put the money into a mold for each handle.

I try to have a set of handles for each mould I own, it's easier this way. I have lately started to have more moulds than I have handles for, and the main reason for that is a mould takes up much less space without handles on it. and I'm starting to run out of room for mould storage. If I can figure out a way to get more storage space I would get handles for the moulds that don't have their own. Another thing to consider, I've seen Lee 6 cavity moulds with their threads to hold the blocks to the handles starting to get too worn to keep the screws in tight, so all of my Lee moulds have their own handles, so I can put them on once, and not worry about the mounting screws coming loose.

More molds than handles. Molds are stored in their own box without handles except for the few Lee molds I have.
