primer switch

I'm loading six rounds of 357 magnum. The bullet is from a Lyman 195 grain 38 Caliber bullet mold, powder is Alliant 2400(starting load). I don't have any magnum primers. Will the non magnum primers I do have work OK. Thanks.

yes they should be ok many people use non mag primers for all there loads

I've burnt several #'s of 2400 and NEVER! touched a single grain of off with a magnum primer, in fact magnum primers are NOT recommended for 2400, not one load listed shows a magnum primer for 2400?
