Does such an animal exist? My hands are cramping up (I've had this problem as long as I can remember) when I try to grasp small items with any kind of force. I've got one of these Lyman case prep centers (motorized gizmo with 5 prep stations) and I can't get through more than about 10-20 pieces of brass before my thumb just cramps up to where it's seriously painful. It's really annoying too as I have a bunch of brass to prep!

You could get one of these (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/476992/lee-case-trimmer-cutter-and-lock-stud) and use the lock stud in a screw driver handle that takes the bits. Then all you would need is the shell holder for each caliber you use. You have to buy the shell holder with the case length gage though. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/271467/lee-case-length-gage-and-shellholder-308-winchester

I recommend this product: http://www.drugs.com/voltaren-gel.html

It helps me when doing that kind of work or reloading in general.

I wonder if you couldn't just take some of that black weather stripping that is sticky on one side and wrap it around the prongs of a single cavity mould handle? That would allow you to grip the brass and would eventually form to hold the brass.

That's actually really cool - they even show using it with the same Lyman doohickey I've got. However you have to take the brass out and flip it to do operations; i.e. chamfer/deburr/flash hole uniform - then flip brass for primer pocket operations. The idea I had was a simpler spring-loaded device similar to a guillotine cigar cutter but a single "blade" that was spring loaded to keep tension on the brass. That way you'd have unfettered access to both ends and it would be easy to invert for the opposing operations. Push a spring-loaded button and the case falls out (and opens it up for a new case.)

Really trying to avoid drugs, though I do need to find the underlying problem. I've actually had this since I was young (teenager) - my father used to make all my fishing rods and it hurt to grasp the thinner-gripped rods, so he actually made large-handled fishing rods just for me.

When I have this problem I use my old lee hand primer (no feed) crimp on old primer and do the work. Wells

I have a similar issue. Instead of using a holder I bought those cheap rubber coated gloves sold at Harbor Freight. Work like a charm:). I don't have to grip near as tightly so my hands don't get tired or cramp near as easily. Keep several pair on the bench become they will wear out after a bit. Hope that helps

Cloth gardening gloves with the Neoprene stippling on the grip side work well, too.
