Does any use Hornady products for the 44-40? If so, what ya think?

Yes. I've used and still use Hornady's .44/40 brass and their .427/.428 swaged bullets in my Winchester 1866 and 1873 reproduction/replica carbines. I was very happy with the brass and the swaged lead bullets shot very well with APP, 777 and Pinacle BP subs.
