I have an early (1954) Marlin in .35 Remington with Ballard Rifling. Original gun I just want to shoot paper with it, using iron sights-it's not drilled/tapped so it's staying that way. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a NOE mold? I'm retired, on a fixed income and can't afford to experiment. Thanks! Bob:coffeecom

Also looking for good load data.

Until Lee decides to offer Ranch Dog's 359-190 I'd go with RCBS's 200 gr offering, lots of fans around here. I have no doubt NOE has made a mould to fill the bill, should be able to find a link to his site in the Group Buy section. Reloader #7 is an excellent choice in this cartridge, LeveRevolution worth a look as well. For plinking there's always Unique.

In fact there was a NOE group buy of an RCBS clone 200 grainer. Check his list of available moulds, he might have some left.

Not sure how they will work, but you may try 358429 (163 grain) SWC PB or 358156 (158 grain) SWC GC, or the Lee 160 grain RNFP PB Boolit.

All will penetrate paper and hopefully a precise load can be found with the boolit of your choice.

Just checked, NOE 35-200 RCBS clone GB is still open but suspect will close soon.

Got two Marlin 35 Rem. and they both love the RCBS 200 gr. FN and Reloader 7 powder. If you search this forum you will find that most have the same results.

My 1955 (early) ballard 336 dotes on the same RCBS 200 and Alliant Reloder 7.

Never had very good luck with pistol boolits in it, though, not even ones that cast .361".
