Need help w/lyman 48c for 03a3

I am in a project w/an 03A3 and need advice on sights. I have a long slide for a 48c and wonder if it can be adapted to the Lyman 57 sme until I can find a 48C?

Not that I know of. They have changed the way the sights were made a few times and the #57 series were always a bit smaller in all aspects.

From what I recall, the 48 and 57 use different shape of slide, the 48's are typically a dovetail type where as the 57's are dado's. Looks that way in the older Ideal/Lyman catalogs also.
