The TL is designed to be tumble lubed, but the other one will size down more easily (of course, you won't know until you have the mold if it drops oversize -- but I have a 309 Lee mold that drops about .311, and a 314 that drops .317 with clip-on wheel weights). Other consideration -- you probably won't be strictly tumble lube for long...

Neither. Get this one: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/953713/lee-6-cavity-bullet-mold-tl358-148wc-38-special-357-magnum-38-colt-new-police-38-s-and-w-358-diameter-148-grain-tumble-lube-wadcutter

I have the 6 cavity tumble lube DEWC. It's a great mold, that boolit works really well for me. I figured I was only going to tumble them in 45-45-10 anyway, so I got the TL version.

I would get the standard mold in a 6 cavity. Yeah, you'll have to buy handles. It'll be over 60 bucks by the time it land on your door step, BUT it will be easier to cast in quantity and the 6 cavity Lee's are better molds than their 2 cavity molds. Any boolit can be tumble lubed, but the TL designs don't work as well if sized in a lubrisizer. Spend the money, read the sticky on "This is a Lee 6 cavity mold." You'll be glad you did in the long run.

I have the second one (the non-TL WC). I agree with the above. Great boolit, shoots excellent from my Smith even with pretty warm loadings. My only regret is getting the 2 cavity rather than the 6. First off, I bought the mold not realizing how addicted to casting I would become. Running a 2 cav at top speed works, but for production you'll want a 6.

The other problem was that I specifically bought it so I could get one of the cavities hollow-pointed. Turns out it's very hard in a 2 cavity Lee because of the location of the alignment pins.

Anyway, I cast mainly range scrap +1% tin for my plinker loads, and WW + Linotype, water dropped, for the faster, deeper penetrating loads. A copy of the Buffalo Bore self defense wadcutters. Hardcast and fast, these things will blast through 2 soaking wet Milwaukee phone books.
