The first step in my long range 416 Rigby load has arrived! I wanna give a special thanks to Dan at Mountain Molds and Tom Meyers for the mold design. So what yall think?

Hard to tell without a chamber cast for reference, but it looks good to me.

It is going Colorado Elk hunting in October I hope to get it shooting well enough for a 400 yard shot.

As far as a hollow point R5R if it shoots as good as it looks I may just look into it.

Depends on how it stabilizes in your rifling. Shoot it and find out!

even at 1900 or so that is a hunk of lead flying along, nothing is gonna slow it down too much.

What rifle is your Rigby? I really like the Rigby, just something about the name gets your attention.

Nope, I can only cast on monday, and last monday I forgot my mold. For the best I guess as I am very busy with boolit orders... I run around like a one legged man in an *** kicking contest!
