Your Input on Selecting Custom 1911 Builder

I was looking to have a Caspian frame and slide 1911 built (with a 4.25 & 6" slide on the same frame) and was looking for a smith to build it. I was wanting a decent name smith in case I needed to resell it within 5yrs. I know most of these types are backed up for a year or two and that is perfect for me as I'm graduating college in 5 months and should be locked down in a higher paying job in 1yr. I was figuring about 1k-1.5k for the labor + finish (hardchrome).
