I found about 5 lbs of forgotten Dupont 59115SR4759 in one of my ammo cans last week. Most of my reloading is with cast boolits and I was wondering if anyone here has worked up some medium power loads for big bore revolvers using lead boolits in the 225 to 250 grain range?

Also interested in some loads (with SR4759) with 180 to 200 grain lead boolits in my .308 bolt action.

I've used it with the 452490 (~255 grains) and the 45-270-SAA (~283 grains)...

Charges from 21.0 grains to 22.0 grains for each boolit...

Velocities run from 1080 fps to 1147 fps in a 6" Blackhawk...

Accuracy was pretty good, but I still get better accuracy with H-110...

Good-luck...BCB
