What are some faorite loads with the Lee "cowboy" boolit? I will be loading in 357 brass and shooting from a 5" S&W model 60. I have: Unique, Titegroup, Bullseye, Power Pistol, 2400, AA #9, and Lil'Gun. I'm looking for a cat sneeze plinker load and a mid-range walking load. I only have Federal small pistol magnum match primers to work with, my SPPs are dedicated to someone else's 9mm.

I also have the Lee 358-150-1R. I got it to load a P89 that I have since parted with, but if it is known shooter in 38/357 I wouldn't mind doing some experimentation. Anyone have any butter loads for it with the powders I have on the shelf?

Just finished a series of tests and 3.5grains of Clays consistently produces 3 1/2" groups at 50 from my wife's 4" SP101 and is a nice, clean load with White Label C-Red lube and 16Bhn slugs.

3.0gr of Bullseye will run slightly bigger groups at the same range and is a tad bit dirtier. Don't know the speed of the Clays load but the Bulleye is running right at 700fps.

Shot 15 groups each at .358",.359", and .360" sized diameter and for all intents and purposes, they shot the same (only 0.03" difference between the averages!)
