Hey,

Irvington Arms in Fremont, CA has one of these on the shelf. If I remember, the tag said $450.

Blued, octagon, at least a 20" barrel (I'm old and forgetful - think it was longer though.).

Dealer price for a new .45 Colt Marlin CB from Gallery of Guns is $584... If this one is in great shape it is a steal! I have one and love it!

marlin CB's are hard to get around here and I been looking for a good one in 45 colt or 357 and havn't had much luck yet.i don't think they're making the 24 inch ones anymore in 45.I'd get it if it's in good shape. They will put the smack down on deer real good and they are fun to shoot. If I see one in 357 I'm probably going to piss my wife off by getting another gun.I like the 45's too and a good one would lighten up my wallet also.I want one that is real tight in the bolt to receiver lock up,some I've seen lately are loose compared to what they made in the past.Guess the cowboy action thing has em cranking them out too fast. The wood on them ain't as good as the older ones either. If it has good wood and no loose gaps around the bolt you better get it before some cowboy action shooter snaps it up.

I didn't inspect it real close, but from what I saw it looked new. I prefer M92s, the pre safety EMF's in particular, or Iwould have bought this Marlin.

I love my Marlin 1894 Cowboy 24" .45 colt.
It is very accurate with cast or jackets.

Even though I already have the 20" Cowboy Limited, I'd snatch that up for $450.

Fun rifle. Mine's going to the range today. The Lee C452 300 RF shoots GREAT in this rifle.
