Good Score?

I was talking to the guy who picks up cardboard at my work place and got around to asking him if he ever comes across wheel weights. He said not really but had a bunch of what he thought was pewter cast chickens on steel napkin rings. Melted down a couple of dozen or so and the ingots hardness comes out to brinell 12.5 - 13. Any one know what the hardness of pewter is? Looks like I better get my propane tanks filled as I may be able to score this for cheap and he has 4 pallets!

Put in pewter to my calculator and it came out bhn 40.9

Woundn't think it to be any where near that as you can bend it fairley easy

What a great score! You could cast boolits out of pewter chickens to knock down steel chickens.
