Looking for a 30-30 load for 311291

I'm looking for load for my marlin 336 30-30 with 311291 GC bullets. I was thinking of either 748 or 4198 for powder. I already sized them to .309. Anyone have a favorite load? Thanks.

My 30/30 load is 33gr 748 behind a Ranch Dog 165Gr bullet cast of Lyman#2 and water dropped. Took a Whitetail this season and performance was super. Lungs were jello, liver 1/3 gone, off side shoulder completely shattered. Bullet not recovered.

In my experience with Marlin 336's your rifle will probably like a fatter bullet. I shoot .310 and .311 in my rifles. I have tried .309 in some of them and they did ok, but not as well as the fatter bullets.

Favorite load with a .309 dia. 311291GC in my 336 Marlin is 34g of the old H-4831 and a CCI 200 primer.OAL is 2.575. Vel is 1883fps
Another load that is showing promise is 21g of Tubal 2000 with the same boolit. Tubal 2000 is "similar" to H-4198. Vel is 1664fps.

34 grains of WW748 is a favorite of mine with the 311-291. I've shot hundreds at Ram silhouettes. Velocity from a 24 inch bbl runs about 2150fps.
