Could someone explain how MOA relates to a scope in easy to understand terminology?? I'm looking at a Bullseye scope that is 3 MOA what does that mean to me at 50'?? I've read a bunch of sites and just can't seem to wrap my head around the whole concept! !:???:

About an inch and a half at 50.

1 Minute Of Angle= 1 inch at 100 yds.
3 MOA @ 100 yds= 3 inch at 100 yds.

I'm about as sharp as a marble most of the time so I could be wrong. ;-)

MOA means minuet of angle. A circle is 360 degrease, and 1 moa is 1 deg divided by 60. Basically all of that means that 1 moa is pretty much 1 inch at 100 yards, .5 inch at 50 yards. This will translate to any range you want (1 moa at 600 yards about 6 inches) and your scope adjustments will work at any range.

3 MOA seems a bit odd unless you are refering to a red dot sight, if this is the case 3 moa means it will cover 3 inches of your target at 100 yards.

Then 3 inches of target coverage at 100 yds is what you have, same math applies as mentioned by the above posters.
