Anyone having problems with responses from Dillon?
I have used their online form and have not had any response from them for 6 weeks, is this normal?
I have a xl 650 and already parts are broken after 30 odd rounds so not very happy with the construction/quality so far!

Cheers!

Sadly it seems normal -- at least in my experience. I have only been able to communicate with them by tele. I suppose that is ok but why then do they suggest other forms are viable.

Call them on the tele and I am sure they will take care of you. Ah, I see you are in the UK so tele may be some $ but that is your best course for quick resolution of issues.

I have never had a problem with an e-mail to or from them. Are you sure your e-mail service doesn’t have some type of anti-gun software?

get me a new primer arm too when you get through.
i just modified mine to be operated manually.
it works better and is easier to skip or add a primer when necessary.
just calling them is best.
except for the 20 minute wait on the phone for the next rep.

Their email responses are very short. They don't have a conversation with you. I finally had to call to get my questions answered. I still don't know if the "no BS warranty" applies to powder measures. I have worn out two of the six I purchased 15 years ago with my 650. If anyone knows, I would like to know. Thanks, Rod

Yes it does, I've had one replaced after I dropped it.

I waited for just under 45mins for a rep to help me last week. Calling is always best with Dillion it seems.

Have left a contact number with them but they have not called, I'm buggered if I'm going to call and wait on hold for 20mins from the UK!

Mondays are the worst. Try the middle of the week.

A while back I found out that a rep from Dillon is a member here. He helped me out without me e en knowing I needed help. I just can't remember his handle.

When I ordered my press it took about 15 mins for them to answer not too bad, and it was around 8pm eastern time.

Do you know anyone with a 650 that can work with you ?, something is going on and even though I don't care for the 650 it's a will made press

Check your pm's

Yep! You have to just call them. Last month would have been easy for you. This year in the USA with firearm related stuff is going "Crazy"...

Marten,

I've only resolved one problem with Dillon via e-mail and that was because I sent pictures. They gave good service but that was in a different time than now.

Can I help you determine what caused the problem so maybe it won't happen again? I don't have any connection with Dillon; just use a 650 pretty hard and have had little trouble with it but I have broken a few pieces in loading almost 100,000 rounds. It may be worth your trouble to buy the 650 repair parts kit. It's not terribly expensive and can keep you going while you wait on parts.

Being in AZ and down the road from Dillon, I was in the store about 2 weeks ago and they are BUSY! Have patience with them as far as I know they still stand by their product. I called before I wend down there and got a long wait as well. From the look of it they seem to be doing everything they can to help as many customers as they can, and busy may actually be an understatement. Hope it helps

Marten, find a buddy with a voip (voice over internet phone). I use one for my home phone. You can call anywhere in the world for free.

Thanks for the help guys.
Have asked a friend 'over there' to give them a call for me, we'll see what happens.
The part that got mangled is #13661 standard rifle case feed bushing, for some reason it 'rode up out' of position and got damaged by the next case.

Last week I blew out my swage rod assembly on the 1050, submitted an email request to Dillon CS. Never got a response but did receive an overnight tracking confirmation 2 days later on the replacement part.
Showed up today.
