I bought this rifle about six months ago, I ended up giving it to one of my grandsons. He is stationed in Arkansas (USAF). He took it out to shoot and a friend was shooting it when the ejector fell out along with the pin and spring. Luckly he found the pin and ejector but the spring took a trip. He is looking for a new spring and as yet can't find one. He has checked with Wolff springs no luck. He has checked with a number of other sorces with no luck. Does any one have any ideas or know of any sorces?

I don't know if the present incarnation of Winchester has any parts support but have you tried them yet?

That 16 foot barrel has got to be rough to lug around. :kidding:

Greetings
Saw that 16' also and thought , Wow sounds like a 105 Main gun on an M60A1 tank...
Gunparts up in Hurley New York generally has rescent make Winchester Parts.
Also try BOB'S Gunparts. He has lots of Winchester stuff listed on his site.

I recently replaced one with a ball point pen spring.

All I can attribute the 16' barrel to is old age and forgetting to shift. Thanks guys.

I recently replaced one with a ball point pen spring.

I will let my grandson know about that one. Thanks. How much cheaper can you get than that.

Winchester has a very user-friendly parts site and the prices are very reasonable. Probably not as reasonable as a ballpoint spring pen but something to keep in mind.

When he's got 'er put back together he'll learn to enjoy that little carbine. I have the same gun with a scout scope mounted. It's an easy packer with a shoulder sling on the "saddle ring." Get in touch with Junior and get him a sling. they are great for that trapper style gun.

There are a couple different ejectors listed for the .44 mag so I guess you will have to check with the rep at Browning arms.1-800-322-4626 ext 2863. I would get a couple as the shipping is as much as the part and I'm on my third ejector in my .357AE. Polish up everything it touches as these are junk cast parts that are brittle and break easily.
