When i make a batch then i'll have to order some AAA LED flashlights to ship with the thingamajig or do you want to order them yourselves?

It's a $3 thing from DX

I just ordered 5 lights.
I looked at inventory and found 1½foot of 3" round grey PVC.
So form and colour will wary slightly. It's 9pm here so i'll wait for tomorrow to whip up a finished model for the world to see.

Nice tool! I solved my problems with my Lee Hardness Tester by using a magnifying visor, 4x I believe, and my dial calipers. I can easily measure the dent with the calipers while wearing my visor using a strong desk lamp. Works for me...

Got my lee tester modifer today from chicken thief in Denmark, it really was Denmark. Tried it out and it works great now what it needs, is a name for IT, do not know what to call it} I can now read those really small marks that were jumping all over the place.
THANKS A LOT :Fire:

Pretty slick idea and nice work Chicken Thief!

I do need a hardness tester so I should order a Lee and get one of your "third arms". Got to see how work holds out though.

Very simple and excellent fix for this device. It's something Lee should have done from the outset since no one I know of can get a reliable reading with this tool unless you figure out how to hold all three things steady at once. The fact that you can get it all back in the box is really a great feature. Most wouldn't even think of doing that.

I have an Nikon Optical Comparator with a digital readout to take my measurements on the dimples I make with the Lee tool. Most people don't have one of those, so your device should find favor with many out there.

Hope you make a million.

By the way, here in America when we address a package we put the sender on top, the receiver below. Must be different where you are.

Thanks again.

My package form Denmark arrived on Friday. I was not able to use it till yesterday afternoon. I really like it. It only took me about 30 seconds to get everything dialed in and take a reading. Not the (well it seemed like about 10 minutes) long time to even find the indentation. Thank you 'chicken thief'.

It's ridiculous that we need a stand and light to make use of Lee's HT, but this is the best I've seen. If I can get one, I might be able to use the only Lee product I have been totally dissatisfied with.
Put me on the list, please.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one he's ignoring. He sent me a PM on 3/21 saying that he had a tester ready to ship, I sent money the next day and still no package. I challenged with PP, but they said the claim was too late. :( I've tried PM'ing and emailing him several times in the event something happened, I understand things do, but to not respond at all? At least it was only a $25 burn and not worse.

Good job. Don't got no mill but I can handle MDF. That looks like a Harbor Freight (free) flashlight.

Circle, I suggest you put your post on the Lead and Lead Alloys forum, there's lots of interest in alloy hardness and measurement products.

I did read THE WHOLE THING.

The ban happened last May.

Many things change in that time so I thought I would ask for a current report.

Catshooter

Well, yes things can change.

However, the first post in the thread is from Chicken Thief and right under his name it says banned. That changes when and if he is a good boy. That's his current status.
