The purpose of this post is to solicit from members who have shot this bullet (or one very much like it) their experience and/or loads with it. I am interested in a good 38 Special revolver practice load (but not Cowboy low). Over the years I have shot thousands of 148 gr. wadcutters and 158 gr. semi-wadcutters mostly using Bullseye, W231, and Unique. While I am happy with these two bullets, adding a new one to the mix would be good. According to Penn's website the premium version of this bullet is velocity rated @1600 fps.

I shoot the Lee and RCBS version of this bullet in handguns with excellent accuracy using Bullseye 4-4.2 grs which gives roughly 1000 FPS out of a 6" gun( .38 spl) and 2" avg 50 yd groups. In my lever guns I use 4.5 BE, 4.9 231 for approx 1200 fps out of the rifles and 3 MOA avg 100 yd groups. I think the Lee 120TC is THE most accurate bullet out of my K38! I think the 120-130 gr TC bullets are an excellent design.

IME 4.0 grs of BULLSEYE powder loaded in a 357 mag case with just about any bullet weight & shape from 125 to 200 gr @ around 800 fps has been very accurate in over 12, 357 mag handguns & rifles that ive had over the past 40+ years , not counting friends that i gave the load to so they could duplicate it themselves.
