Hey all. Ive been using aluminum flashing for making my checks with a FreechexII. Everything works good...but Im wanting to give copper a try. Anybody have a prefered place to buy from? Ive been using .014 to .016 aluminum......would the copper punch out the same? Thanks a lot!8-)

Try Nimrodhall.com
They have a large variety of thicknesses and sizes.

be ready for sticker shock, no matter where you buy copper foil.

Try my favorite supplier, Yonky, he's a vendor here on the forum, he has a bit of copper in .007" & .012" thickness. I have used his .007" stuff and a sample of his .012". It works great! It punches out well. With my Freechex II's & III's I notice little difference from aluminum. With my PM tool it does seem a bit harder to punch, but not excessively so. The checks form well in both types of tools. He has a web site, www.coilandfoil.com, check him out.
But, as Duke says, be ready for sticker shock, compared to aluminum. I can send you some samples of the .007" stuff if you send me a PM. I may have a small sample of the .012" too.
