ok guys i got 705 pounds last week i just sorted them all here,s what i got 479 clip on-31 stick on- 191 zink/steel and 4pounds dirt/paper/tube stems is that close to ur avg ?

I'd say I average about 70% COWW, 5% SOWW, 5% Zinc, and 20% Steel.

I've got a lot more garbage and quite a bit less zinc than that in the bucket I bought in October. Mine is about 90% lead alloy by weight, of which 80% is clip-on, the remainder stick-on. Then again, North Carolina hasn't yet banned installation of lead wheel weights, so most shops are still putting 'em on (more compact than zinc or steel and cost about the same), meaning most cars still have 'em when they come in for a rebalance.

Ok I have to ask since every zink thread you post the above. What are you doing with the zink? I just junked a few pounds, I will see if its still in the dumpster if you want.
