Marlin X7VH 223 bolt action ?

Well the Mossberg MVP was not in stock at any of the dealers I use so decided to get a X7VH. Anyone own one ? I know it's a lower end rifle. Try and cast in it ? Swaged ? Looking for opinions on this rifle not should have bought......

Ive been looking at these here recently. but in 22-250. I have decided to get the mossberg 4x4 instead, mainly because of the wood stock. I just dont like the look or feel of the synthetic stocks. personal prefference. Everything that I have read on the marlin is good. If I dont find a mossberg anywhere I will buy the marlin.

Boyds' is making a thumbhole stock for the X7VH now. If mine shoots decent I'll order the pepper laminate.

Picked it up today, what a hefty rifle. Now to see how it shoots.
